A couple of days back I had the chance to read what is supposed to be part of the Republicans plan as it regards the Obamacare. I had also the opportunity to listen to several colleagues in terms of their fears as it regards the future of healthcare in the United States.
The only thing I can tell everyone is that change is coming. The other thing I’m certain of is that no one knows what the outcome of these changes is going to be. I can look at the variables and based on the facts forecast several possible outcomes which may be plausible. However, the reality of life and our current situation is that a forecast, no matter how solid the base, is simply a guess with fancy words.
Instead I will recommend to think of the current situation as an opportunity to look into your resources, your market and your goals and then decide; where do you want to be in the future? Once you decide where you want to be the next step will be to make a plan. As you work into your plan keep an open mind as things will never be the same. In other words, don’t expect different results if you are simply doing the same.
Another key recommendation; embrace technology. I’m not talking simply Electronic Health Records but tools that help you run your business more efficiently such as Virtual Assistants, new health techniques and protocols and above all using social networks to connect and attract clients.
In short, do not let fear paralyze you and instead consider this a challenge for you to take over.
